Welcome Paragraph

Hello! My name is Lisa Butcher and I am 24 years old. I am attending Columbus State to hopefully obtain an advanced degree in history, and one of the required classes is English 1100. I am keeping this blog for that class. One of my favorite eras of history is the late 1800s to early 1900s because there was such a fast development of social attitudes and technology. Besides history, I also like animals. I live on a farm and have dozens of goats, two dogs, several cats, and two rats. Although I don't believe eating meat is immoral, I am extremely active in animal welfare and like to help in any way I can to get better conditions in factory farms and slaughterhouses.
